My Story
Chapter One
Born and raised in Northwestern Pennsylvania, I’ve always had a curious spirit. As a kid, I was obsessed with exploring the woods that surrounded my home and lived for weekend adventures—whether that meant family road trips, cabin sleepovers, or just finding the best hiking trail nearby. I definitely get my love for exploring from traveling with my parents as a kid, who taught me how to appreciate the little details: winding roads, quiet forests, and small towns with big charm.

Graduated with a degree in Public Relations in 2013. After graduation I moved to Lakewood and started my first job in Hudson, which is a five minute drive from Cuyahoga Valley National Park. During lunch breaks and after work hours, I would find myself checking out different areas of the national park. It was my place to unwind and relax after busy and stressful work days. I find so much solace walking the trails and sitting by the water and decompressing. I made sure I always had my camera with me and started capturing my adventures. I simply had no idea how much beauty the park had, and that soon led to me discovering other parks in the area as well including the Cleveland Metroparks. I felt like no one I knew had any clue we had access to so many outdoor spaces. So, that's when I decided to start posting about these places on my Instagram page.

Chapter Three
My adventures continued for seven years and during that time I moved in with my fiance, we got married and started traveling all over the country. We spent part of our honey moon hiking in Asheville and every October we planned a big trip out West to see as many national parks as possible. My page continued to grow and I started partnering with parks and tourism groups to share more about places all over the country. I grew up traveling via road trips so I've shared adventures that both require extensive planning and a plane ticket as well as an easier, weekend long road trip to a state or two over. In 2019 we had our first baby and my adventures started to look a little different. In 2021 we welcomed our second baby and continued traveling extensively, with a lot more road trips in the mix. In 2022 once our second baby was walking and talking we traveled the most I ever have in one year! Now a lot of the content I share is family-friendly. That's not to say you need kids to enjoy any of the trips we take, but I love being able to share about places so other families can know they are good spots to bring your crew along.
Chapter Four
Chapter Four - Present Day
We welcomed our third and last baby in 2024 and took a bit of break from traveling to enjoy slow weekends as a family. We also made a huge decision to move from Cleveland to Cincinnati, where my husband accepted a new job. We moved in November of 2024 and are now settled into our new life in Cincinnati. We are excited to continue traveling and expanding our travel, with a lot more road trip options available to us in a new region of the state. I am so incredibly grateful I am able to do this as a job and show my children the beautiful, big world around us.
